Carlton E. Brown, founder and President of AirConcepts, Inc., has been involved in air distribution continuously since 1964. He is a distinguished and respected authority in this field and is the holder of numerous patents.As an engineer, Carl has been involved with many industry and technology groups responsible for testing and rating air distribution products (e.g.,ASHRAE TC 5.3, Air Distribution Council, ISO, and ARI).

In 1985, Carl and Barbara Brown launched AirConcepts with the introduction of the Individual Air Outlet. As an air distribution manufacturer specializing in unique products within the HVAC industry, the company's product line has been expanded to include products designed for use in industrial, institutional, and commercial projects.
